Creative Market Website
Web Design, UX/UI • 2012 - 2015
Launched in October 2012, Creative Market is a platform where independent creators buy and sell digital design resources. I provided creative direction and leadership for the brand, and designed the site framework to be a positive experience for buyers and shop owners.
The home page was designed to provide users an idea of what Creative Market can offer them, including the following: popular products from the main cateogry, six free goods, content from the blog, browse goods by app, partner and shop owner programs, and more.
After a user joins, they'll enjoy a feed of popular products and be able to populate their own curated activity list of goods by discovering and following their favorite shops.
Members can learn about the benefits that shop owners enjoy on Creative Market, and can request to Open a Shop to sell their creative design resources.
The category pages make it easy for users to browse product types by popular or recent, and offer a few handpicked goods featured at the top.
Product pages, like 10 Hi-Res B&W Paper Brushes, display details by priority from top left to bottom right, with the primary emphasis on screenshots and the buy button.
Shop owners can easily add new products and edit existing ones by adding details in 8 required areas in whatever order they like.
Members can review all of their past Purchases, re-download them, and sync their Dropbox account to access their Creative Market resources on multiple computers.
In February 2013, we launched Free Goods of the Week, a popular feature that helps 3 different shop owners give away one of their products each week.
In November 2013, we launched a Partner Program, so that members could earn 10% of every purchase by new customers they referred to Creative Market for an entire year.
